About Ng Eng Hooi

Author, Learning & Development practitioner, and ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is the Chair of Coaching Culture International (CCI) and the Past President of the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches (2021–2023) 3. 

With a strong background in organizational development, Eng Hooi previously served as Head of Organization Development and as a Global Coach at Samsung, where he co-led global coaching task forces and designed enterprise-wide coaching initiatives 6. He also founded Jay Team Building, an award-winning team building provider recognized by Human Resource Online in 2019 and 2021. 

Eng Hooi is the author of “Building a Sustainable Coaching Culture: A Step-by-Step Guide to Coaching Culture Implementation,” a practical resource for organizations looking to embed coaching into their DNA 2. He graduated in 2014 from the Corporate Coach Academy, a world top-3 coaching school, under Dr. Michael Heah 5.
